Chelsea are keeping close tabs on Porto’s Diogo Costa ahead of the summer when the Blues are expected to bring in a new shot-stopper.
World-record signing Kepa Arrizabalaga reclaimed his berth on the team sheet after the former No.1 Edouard Mendy proved inconsistent in his displays between the sticks and was dropped as Graham Potter took over the managerial reigns.
The west London giants are heavily tipped to address their goalkeeping situation over the summer and reports suggest that Porto goalie Diogo Costa is being tracked closely by the Stamford Bridge fold with the club’s scouts in attendance to watch him.
According to a report from 90min, it is claimed that the 23-year-old Costa is also subject to interest from Chelsea’s local rivals Manchester United who are likely to dip into the market as well with David de Gea’s future at the club uncertain.
Brentford’s David Raya, Brighton’s Robert Sanchez and Everton’s Jordan Pickford have also been identified as possible targets for Chelsea this coming summer with the recruitment team looking at potential options from inside the English top flight.
