Chelsea keen on stepping up the chase for Fulham talent Fabio Carvalho

Chelsea are understood to be keen on stepping up the chase for Fulham talent Fabio Carvalho following his breakthrough in the Championship at Craven Cottage.

The 18-year-old attacker has been in red hot form this season with three goals in six outings for Fulham and many expect a move to England’s top flight is on the cards for the player.

Reports from Eurosport credited Thomas Tuchel’s Blues camp with a strong interest in signing the teenage starlet but competition will be heavy with the likes of Liverpool, Southampton and Real Madrid also in the mix.

Tuchel could be forced to scout the transfer market in the build-up to January’s window for attacking reinforcements following a spell on the sidelines confirmed for attacking duo Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner due to injuries.
