Chelsea keen on making a bid for Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha who is out of contract with the Serie A side at the end of the month.
Thomas Tuchel is on the lookout for a new signing to provide cover between the sticks for Edouard Mendy with Chelsea’s current No.2 Kepa likely to make the move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.
The Spanish shot-stopper is believed to be keen on a reunion with his former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri who wants to move in for the unsettled Blues player before the transfer window slams shut.
Chelsea, meanwhile, could be eyeing up a deal for Sarri’s Lazio player in the highly-rated Strakosha, according to a report from The Daily Mail, which claims that the Albanian international is expected to be a viable target for Tuchel and Co.
Under the club’s new ownership, Tuchel is tipped to fork out cash on new recruits and overhaul his ranks in time for the start of the next season in which Chelsea would be backed to bridge the gap between the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.
