The Blues are in to contest for the signature of the highly-promising Reading talent Michael Olise who has been courted by a host of sides across Europe with the onset of the summer transfer window.
Reports from TeamTalk claim that Chelsea are being challenged by the likes of Leeds United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich who are all wanting to sign the 19-year-old Olise after his influential spell in the Championship this past season.
However, it is Ligue 1 champions Lille who are currently the frontrunners to make Olise one of their own as they look to bring in a viable replacement for Jonathan Ikone with the Frenchman being touted for an exit ahead of the next campaign.
On the back of his seven-goals and 12 assists worthy 2020-21 Championship showings, Olise is bound to attract interest from some of the biggest clubs in world football and it no surprise that the recently crowned Champions of Europe find themselves in the mix for the teenage midfielder.
The France U18 international can be a major star presence in the Stamford Bridge dressing room for the years to come should he make the move to west London this summer and Thomas Tuchel will be keen on such a player at his disposal as he looks set to sign extended terms with the Blues following their Champions League win.
