The Blues are all set to intensify their interest in signing Borussia Dortmund talisman Erling Haaland with Thomas Tuchel making it a priority to chase the highly-rated Norway international this summer.
Chelsea have been long linked with a move for the Dortmund man but with the Germans insisting on the £172 million valuation of their prized attacking talent, talks had hit a roadblock as of late.
However, reports from 90min have claimed that the west London giants are in line to offer up to £150 million to convince Dortmund into parting ways with the 20-year-old Haaland who scored 27 goals in 28 Bundesliga outings last season.
With the Blues set to lose Olivier Giourd, the veteran World Cup-winning Frenchman to AC Milan in the coming days, Tuchel is keen on shoring up his options up top on the pitch in time for the start of the 2021-2022 campaign in England.
Haaland seems to be his priority target this summer after being handed a major blow on the extended pursuit of Inter Milan’s Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku who has asserted his desire time and again to stay put at San Siro beyond the ongoing transfer window.
