Harry Kane could be the subject of transfer interest from Chelsea once again this summer with Tottenham Hotspur weighing up a move for the Blues central-defender Kurt Zouma.
Thomas Tuchel has been unable to land his priority forward targets in the ongoing transfer window with both Erling Haaland and Romelu Lukaku backed to stay put at their respective clubs beyond this summer.
The Chelsea boss, however, could be in line to shift his focus on the transfer front to Spurs talisman Harry Kane who is heavily linked with a move away from the North London giants ahead of the start of the new season.
Reports from The Express claim that Chelsea could be willing to hijack Manchester City’s big-money approach for the 28-year-old Kane by offering Kurt Zouma as a makeweight in the offer to Tottenham Hotspur who are long-standing admirers of the France international.
Zouma had been rumoured to be on his way to Sevilla as a part of Chelsea’s bid to bring in Jules Kounde but the defender is understood to be interested in staying in London rather than seal a move abroad.
