Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the Stamford Bridge outfit are in line to table an offer in the region of €120-130 million to land Lukaku’s signature despite the player snubbing interest from his former club so far this summer transfer window.
Inter Milan have remained firm on their stance which is retaining their star forward beyond this summer’s transfer window even as Chelsea reignite their efforts to lure the Belgian back to west London ahead of the new season’s start.
With the Blues looking to step up their chase for the 28-year-old Inter Milan star, Romano adds that Tuchel will be looking to table a bumper wage deal for Lukaku who could earn €12 million per year should he make the move to Stamford Bridge.
It remains to be seen what Inter Milan makes of the big-money offer coming their way soon with the club’s troubles on the financial front likely to affect their decision making on the possibility of shipping out one of their most influential performers on the teamsheet.
