According to The Athletic, Darwin Nunez of Benfica has piqued the interest of several European clubs, including Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United.
The 22-year-old has scored 34 goals in all competitions for the Portuguese giants this season, making him an attractive prospect for some big European clubs.
With Erling Haaland’s future decided, Darwin Nunez is expected to be the next man up, following his breakout season with Benfica, which has sparked interest in the 22-year-old.

The forward has had a fantastic season for the club, scoring 34 goals in all competitions, including six goals in ten Champions League outings
Nunez scored just 13 goals the previous season and 16 goals the season before with UD Almeira in the second division, thus this is his best season as a forward.
That hasn’t stopped more than a dozen clubs from across Europe from expressing interest in signing Benfica’s newest star.

However, reports from Lequipe claim that while several clubs are interested in signing him, only Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United are leading the battle for the 22-year-old.
According to the source, all three clubs are interested in the 22-year-old forward, with Benfica willing to transfer him next summer.

While the Liga Nos giants are willing to trade Nunez, their asking price is approximately €70 million, and they are eager to complete a deal as quickly as possible so that they can sign and train a successor before the season begins.
However, this could get complex because, according to Tier 1 UK outlet(The Athletic) all three clubs will need time to put their plans in place due to various situations, so a move could take some time.
