Chelsea are hoping to strike a deal for Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko, a coveted name in the transfer market heading into the January window.
Moukoko has emerged as one of the world’s most exciting young No.9’s with his displays in the Dortmund shirt earning him interest from Premier League heavyweights Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.
According to a report from The Times, it is claimed that Moukoko wants assurance from his suitors that he will be in line for regular first-team football should he decide to make a move to England’s top flight.
The Blues are understood to be hopeful of convincing the young Germany international to sign for them as Graham Potter’s side were forced into a hunt for attacking reinforcements following a season-ending injury to Armando Broja.
A knee issue is confirmed to have sidelined the Albanian forward for the remainder of the campaign at a time when Potter’s front line options have failed to hit the ground running in a consistent fashion so far in the season.
