Chelsea signed Omari Hutchinson from Arsenal in the summer of 2022 and the Jamaican winger has produced phenomenal numbers since then.
The 20-year-old spent the first season at Stamford Bridge and trained with the under-21s. However, he was allowed to join Championship side Ipswich Town for this season.
Ipswich managed by former Manchester United assistant coach Kieran McKenna are fighting to win the race for promotion to the Premier League.
Hutchinson has been helping them reach their targets by contributing six assists and seven goals in over 12 starts this term. The English side can consider themselves favorites to move to the PL if they can manage to gather maximum wins in the final eight games.

Meanwhile, the Blues will be extremely happy to see their young gem progress beautifully. It does give a glimpse about how Manchester City winger Jack Grealish grew during his golden period with Aston Villa back in 2017/18.
A detailed stat provided by Football London highlighted the fact the Omari has performed better than Amad Diallo, Jarrod Bowen, Brennan Johnson and Michael Olise during these players’ time at their Championship clubs.

Chelsea led by Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have heavily invested in youngsters since taking over the club two years back. Although these players are yet to score big, they are growing in confidence after every game. Similarly, the West London side have put their trust in Omari and they believe that he can be recalled if Ipswich gets promoted this season.
We can’t deny the fact that they can wait for one or more seasons, but if the winger continues to score, they have a reason to try him with the senior squad.
The club need to be patient with the player and be careful of not affecting his momentum. Villa gave time to Grealish and it was one of their best decisions.
