Chelsea have reportedly been given an eyewatering £70 million price-tag for Brighton talent Moises Caicedo who is on the shopping list of several clubs across England.
The Ecuador midfield maestro has grown into one of the top names in the Premier League following his impressive breakthrough on the south coast with Brighton where he is one of the first names on the team sheet.
According to a report from The Sun, it is claimed that Chelsea, who are joined by the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool in the chase for Caicedo’s signature, have been told to fork out a £70 million fee to land the 21-year-old starlet.
The Blues are expected to reinforce their midfield ranks in the coming transfer windows with the newly appointed manager Graham Potter all but certain to lose the much-experienced N’Golo Kante at the end of the season.
Kante’s current terms are due to expire in the next summer window and the France international has snubbed the last offer made by the Chelsea camp amid rumours of Spurs and Arsenal showing an interest in the World Cup winner.
