Chelsea given chance to land Raphinha with Barcelona willing to cash in on the winger

Chelsea have been given a chance to land Raphinha with Barcelona willing to cash in on the winger just six months after signing him from Leeds United.

The Catalan giants had then pipped Chelsea to Raphinha’s signature as the Brazilian chose to join Barcelona over the Blues who had been long-standing suitors for him under Thomas Tuchel’s charge.

According to a report from the El Chiringuito reporter Jose Alvarez, it is claimed that Barcelona are prepared to part ways with the 26-year-old attacker who has not impressed since making the move to Camp Nou last summer.

Ousmane Dembele has cemented his starting berth for Xavi’s side which has meant curtailed game time for Raphinha who could be on the move soon with a return to the Premier League tipped to be on the cards.

Graham Potter’s Chelsea are very much in the transfer market for a new signing to reinforce their underwhelming front line options and Raphinha could be just the fresh pair of legs much needed by Potter for the second half of the season.
