Chelsea have been given a £40 million price-tag for Brentford goalkeeper David Raya who has attracted interest from some of the Premier League’s big boys ahead of this summer.
Raya’s impressive run of form between the sticks for Brentford has led to the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United to keep tabs on the Spanish shot-stopper who could be lured to sign for a top-six club sooner rather than later.
According to a report from The Sun, Raya’s suitors in the market, which also include North London giants Tottenham Hotspur, could be asked to fork out a fee of at least £40 million to land the goalkeeper’s signature.
The Blues have depended upon their world record signing Kepa to feature on the team sheet since Graham Potter took charge at the Bridge but the Spain international’s future has been a hot topic in recent times.
Kepa’s deputy Edouard Mendy is another player who could be heading out the exit door at Chelsea in the summer with the Senegal goalie considering his options after falling down the pecking order.
