It is proving to be quite the uneventful transfer window this summer for Chelsea who had been backed to land a proven goal-getter to shore up their attacking options ahead of the new season.
Thomas Tuchel has been on the hunt for a new star striker as the Blues gaffer hopes to solve his side’s mixed bag of fortunes when in the final third of the pitch despite the arrival of German duo Timo Werner and Kai Havertz last summer.
Chelsea have prioritised a striker this summer and their options are now limited:
* Inter Milan insist Lukaku won’t leave
* Spurs will never sell Kane to Chelsea
* Lewandowski is not leaving BayernSo they at least have to try and get this man #CFC pic.twitter.com/cY924fSNVV

Kevin Palmer claims that Chelsea are facing bleak prospects in their efforts to bolster their attack with options now very limited for Thomas Tuchel to ponder over before the transfer window slams shut.
Tuchel’s long-term target Erling Haaland is not expected to make the move to Stamford Bridge this summer and the same goes for Inter Milan talisman Romelu Lukaku who had been linked with a return to the Chelsea colours.
Moreover, Palmer suggests that Tottenham Hotspur will not be willing to offload their wantaway attacking star Harry Kane off to Chelsea with both clubs fierce city rivals in the Premier League.
