Thomas Tuchel’s Blues are set to battle Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain once again on the transfer front this summer with both teams vying for the signature of FC Barcelona’s wantaway star Miralem Pjanic.
The Bosnian international is claimed to be seeking an exit from Camp Nou ahead of the start of the next season owing to the limited playing opportunities that have come his way this past season which was his debut campaign for the Catalan outfit.

Mundo Deportivo suggests that Chelsea are in line alongside PSG to compete for the former Juventus man’s signature as FC Barcelona are believed to be open to selling the player just a summer into his move to Spain.
Chelsea are in the market for another midfield option to add alongside the figures of N’Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic and Pjanic is an experienced name in European football which could prove to be a decent purchase for the west Londoners.
With rumours afloat over Hakim Ziyech’s future at Stamford Bridge beyond this summer’s window, Tuchel will be lured into seeking a creative influence in Pjanic who is also a handy set-piece specialist when given the chance.
