Chelsea face heavy competition to sign Leeds United wonderkid Wilfried Gnonto with Arsenal and Manchester City also in the mix.
Gnonto made the move to Elland Road last summer from FC Zurich and has enjoyed an impressive debut campaign in the Premier League for the relegation threatened Leeds with four goals and three assists in 20 games to his name.
According to a report from the Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, it is claimed that the Leeds starlet is wanted by Premier League big boys Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City besides several clubs around Europe.
Leeds would be hoping to earn a big profit on Gnonto’s potential sale in the summer transfer window later this year with the Yorkshire outfit signing the 19-year-old Italian international winger for a modest fee of £4 million.
His availability over the summer would also depend upon whether Leeds survives the drop to the Championship with the Whites currently sitting 14th in the league standings, two points above the relegation zone.
