Reports claim that Chelsea are preparing to takeover in the ongoing transfer market and have tabled a player-plus-cash bid to Leicester City for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
The Blues have identified Dewsbury-Hall as one player they would love to strengthen their team with in the course of this summer.
New manager Enzo Maresca, who has previously worked with Dewsbury-Hall in Leicester, is excited to get acquainted.
Dewsbury-Hall, 25, who joined the foxes at the age of seven has featured in over one hundred league matches for Leicester.
Last season, he was instrumental to the team — the Foxes as they were fondly called– getting a ticket to the English Premier League after a successful Championship campaign.
According to the media, the midfielder will be willing to leave his childhood club in the summer.
Chelsea is one of the teams interested in signing him, and he prefers a move to Chelsea over Brighton.
According to the newspaper article, Chelsea delivered its bid to Leicester on Friday.
They are ready and willing to feature one of the several players that can be used in the swap deal as offered for Dewsbury-Hall’s move to Stamford Bridge.
The Daily Telegraph states that Chelsea proposed Armando Broja, a striker, David Datro Fofana, a forward, and Cesare Casadei, a midfielder, in the deal.
Casadei had his stint in the outside world during the last season when on loan at Leicester.

Leicester now has Dewsbury-Hall in their team, and their estimated price for him is £ 35 million.
They have to sell something to meet the profit and sustainability targets set by the organization.
In the previous season, Chelsea had a relatively okay season, occupying the 6th position in the Premier League, and thanks to Maresca, the team wants to have a stronger lineup.
Maresca signed for Chelsea after Mauricio Pochettino’s shock departure from Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea’s striker Broja somehow manages to score only three goals out of thirty-eight appearances.
He was out for practically the entire of the prior season. However, there are always opportunities and several Premier League clubs including Everton have been keeping an eye on his situation this summer.
Fofana, signed Chelsea approximately one and a half years ago, will also likely depart the team.
He has drawn attention of many clubs in the European leagues.
Dewsbury-Hall could prove Chelsea in upcoming seasons, if they sign him; this could lead to more speculation that Conor Gallagher could depart the club.
Gallagher is still playing for the England squad during Euro 2024 and has been speculated to attract the attention of Tottenham and Aston Villa.
