Chelsea are reportedly eyeing up a move for AC Milan winger Rafael Leao before the summer transfer window slams shut on September 1.
Leao was a standout performer for the San Siro giants last term during their title-winning campaign and the 23-year-old could be set to earn a big-ticket move to the Premier League this summer with Chelsea interested in his signature.
According to a report from football.london, it is claimed that Chelsea are looking to move in for Leao to add to their attacking roster ahead of September 1’s all-important deadline with Thomas Tuchel on the hunt for a new signing.
Tuchel has parted ways with both Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner earlier in the transfer window and is now keen to bring in Leao with negotiations already started by the Chelsea camp over the weekend with AC Milan.
Everton’s 21-year-old Anthony Gordon is the other name believed to be high on Chelsea’s wishlist in the summer window with the Blues hopeful of striking an agreement soon with the Goodison Park outfit.
