Chelsea are eyeing a bargain deal for Germany starlet Youssoufa Moukoko as they wait to discover the outcome of the contract talks between Moukoko and Borussia Dortmund.
Moukoko has courted interest from some of the biggest clubs across Europe with the 18-year-old, who was Germany’s youngest World Cup appearance maker earlier this year, was involved in a contract standoff with the Dortmund camp.
According to a report from BILD, it is claimed that Chelsea have earmarked the teenage sensation as a promising talent which could signal Graham Potter’s interest in moving in for his signature sooner rather than later.
The young forward is understood to be keen on a major bump in his wages at Dortmund, for whom he has made 59 appearances and netted 11 goals, and the Bundesliga outfit so far have been unwilling to concede to his salary demands.
As the contract extension paper remains unsigned at Signal Iduna Park, Chelsea would be hopeful of securing an agreement to land Moukoko with other clubs in the fray as well for his services.
