Chelsea are said to be eyeing up Luis Campos as their new sporting director with the new co-owner Todd Boehly set to bring in a replacement for Marina Granovskaia who left in the summer.
Granovskaia’s departure coincided with Boehly taking over the ownership reigns with the latter’s hunt for a sporting director taking him to Paris Saint-Germain’s Campos.
According to a report from 90min, Campos has emerged on the radar at Stamford Bridge in a rebuild of sorts under Boehly with the Portuguese football executive doing great work this summer at PSG.
Boehly has his task cut out in steering Chelsea through troubled waters of late following the sacking of Thomas Tuchel and Brighton’s Graham Potter being brought in as the replacement for the head coach position.
Potter will have his debut outing in the Chelsea dugout come Wednesday night when the west London giants take on RB Salzburg in their second group stage fixture in the Champions League following last weekend’s defeat to Dinamo.
