According to the Sun, Chelsea is trying to persuade LOSC Lille forward Jonathan David to sign a long-term contract with the club, maybe during the summer transfer window as they aim to sign another young attacker.
Due to his impressive displays in Ligue 1 this season, where he is among the top scorers in the division, the teenage striker has drawn a lot of attention.

The striker could consider a summer transfer to a major league club. He is still in his prime at 22, and Chelsea may have acquired a player who may provide us with a long-term option in the attack. Several other clubs are reportedly interested in the Canadian forward, so Chelsea will find it difficult to sign him.
