Chelsea are expected to sell five homegrown players in the summer transfer window with the likes of Mason Mount and Conor Gallagher set to be on the move.
The Blues are ready for a summer rebuild under the incoming head coach Mauricio Pochettino who will inherit a squad that failed to hit the ground running during a disappointing 2022-23 campaign.
According to a report from talkSPORT, it is claimed that Mount, whose future in the Chelsea shirt hangs in the balance, could be followed out of the exit door by midfield duo Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek with Trevor Chalobah and Callum Hudson-Odoi also touted for departures.
Mount has attracted interest from Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool ahead of the upcoming summer window with the England playmaker set to enter the final year of his contract at the Bridge come next season.
Gallagher is not believed to have convinced the Blues hierarchy that he warrants a place in the long-term plans at the club while Loftus-Cheek, Chalobah and Hudson-Odoi have served as bit-part players in recent seasons.
