Just one day after the Champions league draw, Europa league draw was made. The Blues who finished fifth last season could not qualify for Champions League and will be playing Europa league this season. The Blues last played Europa league in the year 2012/13 and not to be surprised that they were triumphed champions.
With the way Chelsea have started their season and adopted Sarri’s style of play we can presume that Europa League cup will come to West London this year. Also the presence of players like Eden Hazard, Jorginho, Kante and Kepa in form we can surely expect history being repeated.
The draws have come out and seem to be far easy draw for a team like Chelsea. They are drawn out with PAOK, BATE Borisov and Vidi FC. Chelsea have never faced BATE Borisov before who have won their domestic league 12 times in a row. Vidi FC seems to be the weakest side in the group but you never know which team may turn out to be dark horses.
