Chelsea Duo nominated for PFA Young Player of the Year 2019-20

Chelsea has two nominees in the PFA Young Player of the Year 2019-20. Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham are the two players who are in the list of nominees.

Both the players played key roles for the Blues this season, with Mount leading the team in appearances and often playing a key part with his all-around work. It is Tammy Abraham who has scored the most goals for Chelsea this season and rightfully deserves his place in the list.

Mason Mount played 32 matches. He had 29 shots on target from a total of 50 shots. He netted 7 times for the Blues. He averaged 34 passes per match with 86% pass completion rate. He also assisted 5 times.

Meanwhile, Tammy Abraham played 25 matches for the Blues. He had 35 shots on target from a total of 69 shots. He had a whopping number of  15 goals scored. Tammy Abraham averaged 12 passes per match with 68% pass completion rate. He also added 3 assists to his stats.

The Premier League is giving such an award for the first time.
