Chelsea could use Callum Hudson-Odoi in a swap deal for Crystal Palace talisman Wilfried Zaha with the latter heavily linked with a move to the Bridge this summer.
The Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel has brought in only one attacking signing in the transfer window with England international Raheem Sterling signing for Chelsea from Manchester City.
Departures from the Chelsea camp, however, have been high profile with both Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner leaving the English capital which leaves Tuchel bereft of quality options in the forward lineup.
According to a report from The Daily Express, Zaha’s departure from the Palace fold this summer opens the door for them to bring in Hudson-Odoi with Chelsea open to the English winger’s exit on a loan spell.
Hudson-Odoi is on the lookout for a new destination to get more regular first-team football which has been hard to come his way under Tuchel’s charge at Chelsea over the past couple of years despite his huge promise of ability.
