Chelsea could step up their interest in signing Brighton forward Leandro Trossard after his impressive display in the 4-1 rout of Graham Potter’s men on Saturday.
Potter’s unbeaten streak since making the move to Chelsea came to an end with his side suffering a thumping defeat to old club Brighton and questions were asked of Chelsea’s misfiring front line.
Summer recruit Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has failed to hit the ground running in a consistent fashion and Potter is likely to look for alternatives in the transfer market when the January window opens in the New Year.
According to a report from the journalist Sacha Tavolieri, it is hinted that Chelsea would be keeping close tabs on the in-form Brighton dangerman Leandro Trossard in light of the Belgian’s superb outing at the Amex against the Blues.
The South Coast outfit are said to be open to parting ways with the player should they be unable to renew extended terms in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer in the summer of 2023.
