Chelsea could be priced out of a January swoop for Fiorentina star Dusan Vlahovic with the asking price too steep for the west Londoners.
The Serbian star striker has been in terrific form this season 19 goals in 22 outings across all competitions and has some of Europe’s biggest clubs including Chelsea and Manchester City chasing his signature.
According to reports from The Daily Star, however, it is claimed that Fiorentina’s pricing demands of a fee north of £70 million coupled with the player’s expected salary of £200,000-a-week, Chelsea are in line to pull the plug on potential talks.
Thomas Tuchel has been scouting the transfer market for reinforcements in attack in spite of splashing the cash on Romelu Lukaku’s return to Stamford Bridge this summer from Inter Milan in a big-money deal.
