Romelu Lukaku has made the return to the Chelsea colours with the Belgian star striker signing a long-term deal with the Blues in a big-money move from Serie A holders Inter Milan.
Chelsea had succeeded in their efforts to sign a proven goal-getter in this summer’s transfer window with Thomas Tuchel’s camp negotiating a deal with Inter Milan who are in line to fetch a transfer fee north of £110 million.

Reports from Chelsea’s official website confirm Lukaku’s arrival at the London-based club with the 28-year-old forward making his way back to Premier League football after a glorious spell abroad in Italy.
Thomas Tuchel had been persistent all summer to bring in a big-name striker for his side to solve Chelsea’s mixed bag of fortunes in front of the goal as last summer’s marquee signing Timo Werner failed to hit the ground running in his debut campaign at the Bridge.
Lukaku signs for his former club Chelsea on the back of an influential outing for Belgium during this summer’s mega-event UEFA European Championships where he scored four goals and was named in UEFA’s team of the tournament.
