Chelsea have reportedly completed a £53 million deal to sign RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku who will join the Stamford Bridge fold next summer.
The France international had long been tipped to agree on terms with the Blues and the 25-year-old will be in line to complete his move to west London from Germany ahead of the start of the next season.
In spite of the injury crisis in the attacking ranks with Armando Broja sidelined for the rest of the campaign due to a knee injury, it is understood that Chelsea owner and interim sporting director Todd Boehly has not pushed for a January move for Nkunku.
According to a report from football.london, it is claimed that the Stamford Bridge giants would be looking at striker options in the upcoming transfer window as Graham Potter remains under pressure to reinforce his front line.
Potter will be backed by Boehly in the January window should the former decide to make a mid-season move for his preferred targets in the market to improve upon certain areas of his squad.
