Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly is understood to be keeping tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner with Graham Potter’s future at the Bridge shrouded in uncertainity.
The Blues sit 10th in the Premier League table after a woeful run of form in recent weeks and yet another defeat in top flight action over the weekend, to basement side Southampton, added to the speculation that Potter could be on his way out.
With Boehly likely to back his current manager for the coming fixtures, the American businessman, who has spent big over the last two transfer windows to bolster the squad, has his eye on other managerial options across Europe.
According to a claim from Christian Falk’s Caught Offside column, Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner is one of the names being considered by Boehly following the former earning plaudits for guiding Frankfurt to the the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Both Boehly and the Blues technical director Christopher Vivell are admirers of Glasner who was approached by the Chelsea camp last September when the Stamford Bridge outfit had been on the hunt for potential replacements for Thomas Tuchel.
