Chelsea are closing in on signing Inter Milan midfielder Cesare Casadei with a £12.6 million deal agreed upon with the San Siro camp for the promising youngster.
Casadei has been offered a six-year contract by the Blues with his medical pending this week as Thomas Tuchel looks to add to his options in the heart of the midfield by bringing in the 19-year-old talent.
Tuchel’s latest recruit from the summer market is yet to make his senior professional debut in the Inter shirt but his displays at the youth level have made him a hot prospect in Italian football.
According to a report from The Daily Mail, it is claimed that Chelsea will fork out a further £4 million in add-ons for the Inter Milan starlet initially to be brought in as a signing for the club’s academy.
It remains to be seen whether Chelsea make the decision to ship out Casadei on loan to the Serie A following the completion of his move to Stamford Bridge in the coming days.
