Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and AS Roma are the clubs in the mix to make a move for Chelsea central defender Kurt Zouma, according to Telefoot journalist Julien Maynard’s claims.
Zouma has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge in the aftermath of Thomas Tuchel’s appointment to the Chelsea job with Tuchel opting for the Rudiger and Christensen pairing in the heart of the backline.
The France international Zouma had earlier been linked with a move to Spurs which were then under the charge of ex-Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho who now is at the helm of AS Roma in the Serie A.
Spurs are once again in line for the Chelsea man with the North London outfit resigned to losing their defensive mainstay Toby Alderweireld this summer as the Belgian international central defender has asked the Spurs board to sanction his leave ahead of the next season’s start.
Chelsea will be looking to bolster their defensive line themselves should Zouma also seek an exit this summer after having already shipped out the highly-promising Fikayo Tomori to AC Milan earlier in the ongoing transfer window.
