Chelsea can reportedly sign Inter Milan midfielder Cesare Casadei this summer for a knockdown fee due to the San Siro camp’s financial woes.
The teenage talent Casadei has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the recent past with the Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel keeping close tabs on the Inter starlet.
According to a report from the Italian outlet Tuttosport, Inter could be willing to part ways with the 19-year-old in the summer window without including a buyback clause in the deal which helps Chelsea in their pursuit of the player.
A knockdown asking price of £12.5 million could be enough for Chelsea to prise away Casadei before the transfer window slams shut with Inter likely to be forced into the sale of their promising youngsters rather than key first-team players.
Tuchel is said to be keen on adding to his options in the heart of the midfield with the long-serving Jorginho’s future up in the air amid interest shown in his services from Italy’s biggest clubs Juventus and Napoli.
