Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly drawn up a three man shortlist for a new striker with the Blues frontline failing to hit the ground running.
There was hope that the £32 million signing of Nicolas Jackson in the summer will provide the new Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino with some much needed firepower in the final third of the pitch.
Jackson, however, has failed to hit the ground running in the Premier League so far this season despite enjoying a stellar run of form in pre-season, which could convince Pochettino to fork out money on a fresh pair of legs come January.
According to a report from The Daily Express, it is claimed that the Blues manager has his sights on Sesko although Leipzig will show reluctance to part ways with their in-demand talisman for anything lower than £70 million.
Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins and Brentford’s Ivan Toney are the other names on Chelsea’s shortlist of attacking targets with the latter expected to leave Brentford upon his return to action from an eight-month-long ban.
