Chelsea boss Graham Potter is keen on Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier with the former looking to make the shot-stopper his first signing since he joined the Blues.
The 22-year-old Meslier caught the eye of several top clubs across the continent with his stellar run of displays between the sticks for Leeds who gained promotion back to the English top flight division back in 2020.
According to a report from football.london, it is claimed that Chelsea are keeping tabs on Meslier and could be set to make an approach soon for his signature with Potter in the market for a new goalkeeper.
Edouard Mendy, who has dropped down to the No.2 role after Kepa regained the trust of the Stamford Bridge camp, is on the lookout for a new destination where he can earn himself regular game time.
An exit from the Bridge for the Senegal international goalie will allow Potter to move in for Meslier who is well known for his distribution and impressive shot stopping skills.
