Chelsea are understood to be among the host of clubs credited with an interest in RB Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku this summer.
The 24-year-old Frenchman emerged as one of the standout figures for his side over the course of the season and it is suggested that a big-money move to the Premier League could well be on the cards for Nkunku.
Thomas Tuchel is set to make a decision over the futures of Christian Pulisic, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, who have all underperformed this season, and could be deemed surplus to requirements if any reasonable offer arrives at the Bridge.
According to a report from Goal, Tuchel’s Blues are in line to provide competition to the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool in the pursuit of the Bundesliga Player of the Year Nkunku.
Romelu Lukaku, despite finishing as the leading goalscorer this season for Chelsea with 15 strikes to his tally, had endured a rough patch of form in the final third much to Tuchel’s disappointment after the Chelsea boss splurged on the purchase last summer.
