Chelsea have been put on alert to long-term target Erling Haaland’s standoff at Borussia Dortmund with a summer exit widely expected to be on the cards for the star striker.
The Norway international has long been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge where he has a huge admirer in the Blues manager Thomas Tuchel who has been pushing for a big-money deal to bring in his top target.
According to reports from the Spanish news outlet AS, it is claimed that Haaland and his agent Mino Raiola will be in touch with the Dortmund camp to take a decision on the 21-year-old’s future destination heading into the summer window.
Haaland has the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United chasing his signature besides Chelsea with the west Londoners looking to bolster their attacking ranks despite Romelu Lukaku’s signing.
Lukaku made the move to the English capital in the summer from Inter Milan but is yet to hit the ground running in a consistent fashion as the Belgian hopes to have the recent controversy surrounding his Sky Sports interview behind him.
