Chelsea fans watched the transfer unfold yet again as the club targeted Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise.
Mauricio Pochettino first activated Olise’s release clause and appeared to have effectively signed the winger.
However, Olise had other plans for his future as he decided to prolong his stay at Selhurst Park club which was very much undesirable on the side of the Blues.
This was rather unfortunate because Olise had maintained excellent results in the Premier League.
Even with a great deal of injuries during the season, Olise managed to score ten goals while also making six assists, appearing in 19 matches.
He managed to continue performing very well, which ensured that Chelsea’s eyes were on him.
After Pochettino, Enzo Maresca takes the charge and with the support of the owner Todd Boehly the club backed themselves to try again for Olise.
But this time around, Chelsea took a different approach to this particular issue.

Since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, Boehly has been described as a ‘big spender,’ and he felt Olise was not worth another war in the transfer race.
It was reported by the Athletic’s David Ornstein on the Friday night that Olise decided to move elsewhere to Bayern Munich after Chelsea backed out of the race.
The decision to proceed with the deal was not easy because the Blues were apprehensive on the amount charged on the transfer given that part of the fee was taken by Olise and his former club.
Chelsea on the other hand has a different approach to the situation, where it aims to increase the number of first-team players from the current crop.
The club also wants to prioritize attacking player acquisitions with a view of their potential impact on spending.
This decision is a recent indication in Chelsea’s transfer dealings as they adapt to the more sustainable model.
Prior to this, Boehly used Financial Fair Play (FFP) forgery by signing astoundingly long contracts for expenses.
However, this approach can not be implemented for every new player who wants to join in the health care system.

Chelsea should spend more prudently in their operations so that they do not spend a lot of money.
The center-forward post is perhaps more needed today than the winger, due to the talents already assembled in the role.
Opportunities to the players will enable a better environment to be created than the scenario of spending until an answer is found.
Chelsea does not plan on using new players to perform the roles of special players because they were signed for that purpose.
