Charlie Brown leaves Chelsea to join MK Dons in a permanent transfer deal

Chelsea’s young striker, Charlie Brown has moved to MK Dons on a permanent transfer deal as per the Official Chelsea Website. He was an integral part of the U-18 team of Chelsea that won the quadruple in the year 2018.

The 21 years old left Ipswich Town to join the Blues in 2016 in the summer transfer window. Brown’s debut season was very promising as he scored 10 goals after playing 20 games for Chelsea’s U-18.

He played frequently as a substitute and even though scored goals- the one where he scored four goals against Brighton as a substitute.

Brown’s brace against the Spurs in Chelsea’s 2-0 win in the final of the U-18 Premier League Cup and his goal in the semi-final of FA Youth Cup was the most notable achievement of his Chelsea career.

For the U-19s, he netted 12 goals in the UEFA Youth League campaign as the team played the final in 2019. He played the top-flight senior team football last campaign as a loanee with Union SG- a 2nd Division Belgium team.

Chelsea is already preparing a move to secure the future by bringing Ali Akman as a striker. No wonder, Brown is leaving the Blues.
