Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are on the road this weekend at basement side Burnley with the Blues eyeing a win to keep their top four hopes alive.
Chelsea last turned out midweek in the FA Cup fourth round away at Luton Town with Tuchel’s men scraping through to the next round with a 3-2 win.
Let us now have a look at how Thomas Tuchel might set up his Chelsea side against Burnley –
3-4-2-1
Edouard Mendy is poised for a return to goalkeeping duties for the Blues with Kepa deputising for the former in the FA Cup clash against Luton.
Antonio Rudiger will be in line to retain his starting berth in the centre-back role and is expected to be joined by the likes of Thiago Silva and Trevoh Chalobah.
In the centre of the park, Mateo Kovacic will push for a recall back into the XI at the expense of Jorginho to partner up with N’Golo Kante.
Tuchel could tinker around with his attacking lineup with Mason Mount set to make way for the American international Christian Pulisic to join Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku.
