Brighton starlet Evan Ferguson is set to snub interest from Chelsea with the teenager keen to stay on the South Coast with the Seagulls.
According to a report from The Sun, it is claimed that the 18-year-old forward is in no hurry to leave Brighton as he reckons his development would be better playing where is now rather than make a move elsewhere to a bigger club.
He has a formidable tally of seven goals in all competition for the south coast side Brighton this season in 16 matches and it is said that Manchester United were strong contenders to move in for his signature when the transfer window reopens for business.
Graham Potter’s Blues, meanwhile, continue to remain on the search for an attacking signing to bolster their front line even as the Chelsea board attempt to sign the on-loan forward Joao Felix on a permanent basis.
