Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have reportedly identified Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech as a loan target for the forthcoming January transfer window.
The Moroccon attacker failed to the ground running in his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge with only six goals and four assists across his 39 outings for Chelsea who spent big on signing from Ajax last summer.
Ziyech has clocked less than 200 minutes of Premier League action over the course of this season under Thomas Tuchel and rumours suggest that the player could be in line to seal a move elsewhere when the transfer window reopens.
Reports from German news outlet BILD ( via football.london) have claimed that Dortmund are keeping close tabs on Ziyech’s situation and are hoping to land his signature in a loan agreement to bolster the attacking ranks at the Signal Iduna Park.
Thomas Tuchel has been left bereft of quality talent in his forward lineup himself on the back of injury troubles for Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner which adds to the speculation of Ziyech’s long-term future in the Chelsea shirt.
