Chelsea found out the last of Michael Olise on Friday evening and this time the final destination was Bayern Munich.
In that regard, the Reports said that Crystal Palace had agreed to let Chelsea to enter into discussions with Olise’s staff but the results were quite clear.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea has pulled out of the race for Olise over financial constraints.
That was followed by a report done to indicate that Bayern Munich had consulted Olise to confirm that he had agreed to have his £60 million release clause activated.
Chelsea had been tracking Olise for some time, however, the player wish to play at the top level made Bayern, the only club in the running set to be in the Champions League next season more appealing.
Considering recent actions by Chelsea in the transfer window, many thought it wise for them to withdraw from the race.
But their following actions will determine if they will again be trapped between the crossfire or not.

There is also another prominent winger in Belgium in Johan Bakayoko also in Euro 2024.
The rising talent in the Dutch football club PSV bagged 28 goals in the 2023/24 season and has been rumoured with a transfer to Liverpool.
Bakayoko has attracted interests from other clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund and he is eyed at a price of about 50 million pounds.
The player is 21 years of age and like Olise, he loves playing at the right wing position though he only did that through the entire previous season.
Bakayoko has two years remaining on the contract and could be seeking the next challenge in his young career, with Chelsea on the horizon.
There is also a player named Crysencio Summerville linked with Liverpool that can be targeted in this transfer window, with Leeds United likely to offload players following their failure to gain a promotion to the English Premier League.
Summerville, a talent on loan at Leeds who plies his trade at Championship level, got 21 goals and 10 assists.
Summerville is a workhorse who rather operates as a left-winger but can interchange with the opposite side.
However, Leeds could request £35 million for the striker who has 2 years on his contract at the club.
