Bayern Munich has expressed interest in signing Chelsea star Kai Havertz and might intensify their pursuit following Arsenal’s unsuccessful initial bid, as reported by the Daily Mail.
The German club sees Havertz as a potential alternative to Dusan Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani. Meanwhile, Arsenal is planning to make another offer for the talented German midfielder and seems to be taking the lead in the race for his signature at the moment.
However, the Gunners will proceed cautiously in their efforts to secure the attacker, being mindful not to overpay for the player.
Chelsea has set a price tag of approximately £70 million for the forward but is open to negotiation. Havertz himself is receptive to the idea of joining Arsenal. Meanwhile, the Blues are prepared to offer the former Bayer Leverkusen player a new contract with reduced wages.

A move to Emirates Stadium could provide Havertz with an opportunity to revive his career after struggling to consistently impress during his time in West London.

Last season, the 23-year-old faced difficulties playing as a striker and had a limited goal-scoring impact, finding the net only seven times in 35 Premier League appearances.
Chelsea has every right to demand a significant fee for Havertz, considering his young age and potential for further development.
It wouldn’t be wise to strengthen a direct rival like Arsenal by selling him at a reduced price. Although it appears that the German star’s time at Stamford Bridge is coming to an end, sending him to a club like Arsenal, may not be the best decision.
A move to the Bundesliga, particularly Bayern Munich, would make more sense for Havertz. He has previous experience working with Thomas Tuchel and would require less time to adapt to the team.

Ultimately, the decision will depend on which club makes the most appealing offer, as that will be a significant factor in tempting both the player and his club.
Additionally, Chelsea has a fondness for Havertz due to his crucial goal in the 2021 UEFA Champions League final.
