Barcelona have reportedly made major progress in talks to sign Chelsea target Raphinha with the Catalans tabling a £60 million offer for the wantaway Leeds United attacking player.
Raphinha was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer until Barca pipped Thomas Tuchel’s Blues to the Brazil international who also had Arsenal chasing his signature at one point in the transfer window.
According to a report from Goal, Chelsea could be set to lose out on Tuchel’s target in the Leeds United winger with Barcelona matched the £60 million bid that had been agreed upon by Chelsea and Leeds last week.
However, it is understood that Raphinha and his agent Deco have given Barcelona and Leeds just over 48 hours to strike out an agreement, otherwise, they will be in line to re-open negotiations with Chelsea over a move to the English capital.
Tuchel would be hoping to capture the Brazilian forward and shore up his attacking ranks with the Chelsea head coach closing in on his first signing of the summer window with Raheem Sterling’s deal set for approval.
