La Liga heavyweights Barcelona are reportedly eyeing up moves for Chelsea trio Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger and Christian Pulisic.
Both Rudiger and Azpilicueta are out of contract come next summer with the boss Thomas Tuchel’s repeated efforts to tie them down to renewed terms proving futile heading into the January transfer window.
Pulisic has been on the fringes of the Chelsea ranks in recent times owing to his lack of consistency in form coupled with extended injury troubles curtailing his time out there on the pitch.
According to reports from the Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo ( via The Daily Express), it is claimed that the new Barca boss Xavi is keen on adding quality talent to his ranks and has the Chelsea players on top of his shopping list.
Xavi’s desperation to shore up the defensive roster at Camp Nou could make the likes of Rudiger and Azpilicueta priority targets for the newly appointed gaffer despite rival club Real Madrid leading the race to land the Blues contract rebel Rudiger.
