Atletico Madrid are set to demand £124 million for Chelsea loanee Joao Felix should the Blues be interested in making his transfer permanent over the summer.
Felix signed for Graham Potter’s side in the January transfer window on loan until the end of the season with his debut outing, in the 2-1 defeat to Fulham, seeing him getting sent off despite his promising display leading the front line.
According to a report from the Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, it is claimed that Atletico value their record buy Felix at £124 million and will not sanction his exit unless that price tag is met by his suitors.
It is said that should Deigo Simeone remain in charge of the La Liga giants, Felix will have no intention of staying with Atletico due to his deteriorating relationship with the Argentine head coach.
Atletico’s business for the coming summer transfer window hinges on whether Felix stays or heads out the exit door with the club planning a rebuild of their squad after an inconsistent campaign this term.
