Arsenal’s top summer transfer target Raphinha wants a move to Chelsea

Arsenal’s top summer transfer target Raphinha wants a move to Chelsea with the Brazilian forward keen to turn out in the Champions League.

Mikel Arteta’s North Londoners have been keeping close tabs on the Leeds United wide player Raphinha who has proven to be a standout performer for his side despite last season’s battle to avoid the drop zone.

The 25-year-old Brazil international has found his suitors in the Spanish heavyweights Barcelona and while the player favours a move to Camp Nou, Barca’s financial woes could complicate a potential deal with Leeds United.

According to a report from The Athletic, should Barca’s approach for Raphinha fail to go through this summer, the winger will be eager to join Thomas Tuchel’s side who are in the market for attacking reinforcements.

The opportunity to feature in Champions League football next season is of much importance to the Elland Road star and with Chelsea set to part ways with the Inter Milan-bound Romelu Lukaku, Tuchel would be happy to land Raphinha’s coveted signature.
