Arsenal have identified Chelsea star N’Golo Kante as a top summer target with the Gunners boss Mikel Arteta keen to reinforce his engine room.
Kante’s future at Stamford Bridge beyond the end of the season remains up in the air with the France international yet to agree upon a new deal with his current terms due to expire this coming summer.
According to a report from The Daily Mirror, it is claimed that Kante, along with West Ham United skipper Declan Rice and Brighton talent Moises Caicedo, is on the list of three midfielders who Arteta has earmarked ahead of the summer window.
Arsenal have not no issue in signing players from London rivals Chelsea as demonstrated by their snapping up of Jorginho from the Blues in the January transfer window and the Premier League title challengers would want a repeat of the same.
Kante could prove to be a brilliant piece of transfer business for the North London giants should the World Cup-winning midfielder decide against renewing his contract with Chelsea.
