Chelsea contract rebel Antonio Rudiger would reportedly prefer to move to Real Madrid over Paris Saint-Germain in the summer window.
The Germany international’s stay at Stamford Bridge is due to come to a close at the end of the season and some of Europe’s biggest clubs have been alerted to his situation.
Real Madrid are long considered to be the frontrunners in the race to land the central defender and it is now claimed that Rudiger remains keener on a switch to the Spanish giants rather than Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain.
According to reports from football.london, it is suggested that Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia’s offer for Rudiger to stay put still falls short of still of up to £60,000 with the player holding out on a sizable £200,000 a week payout to renew his terms.
Rudiger is aware of his importance in the Chelsea setup under Thomas Tuchel’s management with the boss pushing hard for his defensive mainstay to put pen on paper and agree on a new long-term extension in the English capital.
